RiT Tech's A Thirst For Innovation? Conference fuels dialogue on risk and reinvention in the data center

February 3, 2023

The A Thirst For Innovation? Conference brought together a diverse range of industry experts and thought leaders to discuss the emerging risks and untapped opportunities facing data center operators.

After the huge success of its virtual predecessors, RiT Tech held the first in-person A Thirst For Innovation? Conference on 26th January 2023 at the IET London. The conference welcomed over 100 attendees, keen to quench their thirst for knowledge on the future of data center risk management.

The one day-event empowered data center and IT professionals with unparalleled knowledge into the most significant issues, both present and future, facing the sector. Through a mixture of keynotes and panel discussions, thought leaders shared cutting-edge insights on how data center operators can leverage technology to embrace sustainable transformation and reinvent for resilience. Predictive analytics, AI, DCIM, operational planning, cybersecurity and ESG reporting were some of the major themes discussed.

“Our event comes at a time of monumental change. The fourth industrial revolution is firmly underway and, at the same time, the climate crisis is ever-nearing its peak. At the convergence of these global trends lies the data center,” says Assaf Skolnik, CEO at RiT Tech.

“Against a backdrop of growing environmental concerns and soaring data demands, we set out to unravel the critical challenges facing data center operators, such as guaranteeing service availability, overcoming cost concerns and latency issues, and moving from sustainability ambition to action.”

The event saw panel discussions and keynotes from well-respected experts within the sector. Highlights included:

There was a wealth of excitement from attendees and speakers, delighted to come together to learn and share knowledge on incredibly important issues facing our industry.
