BICSI Recognizes RiT Technologies Courses For Continuing Education Credits (CECs)

Tel Aviv, Israel – August 5, 2009 – RiT Technologies (NASDAQ: RITT), the world-leading provider of intelligent infrastructure solutions, today announced that BICSI, one of the IT industry’s most respected professional organizations, has begun awarding its Continuing Education Credits (CEC) to members who complete RiT’s Intelligent Physical Layer Management Solution and RiT Cabling Installer educational and training seminars. This is recognition by BICSI of the importance of the Intelligent Physical Layer Management concept and the strong ROI that it offers in today’s complex enterprise and datacenter environments.

BICSI’s CEC program is the Continuing Education segment of its Credentialing program. After achieving a BICSI credential (a process that includes the accumulation of experience and the passing of rigorous tests), an IT professional is required to “keep current” by taking Continuing Education courses and seminars. As such, the number of CECs accumulated by a network/IT professional indicates the effort made in ongoing education and helps them maintain their status.

“We are gratified that BICSI has now included Intelligent Physical Management as a ‘baseline’ concept that all IP professionals should be aware of,” commented Mr. Avi Kovarsky, President and CEO of RiT Technologies. “With a wealth of practical information and concrete case studies, our courses are designed to translate into immediate benefits for busy professionals, opening their eyes to a new way of looking at the physical layer. We hope that BICSI’s accreditation will encourage professionals throughout the IT industry to investigate our concept and to improve their skills in this fascinating area.”
